While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's voicemail stated: "Suppose there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? Then what? Wouldn't that be important for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I just want to know," the message continued.

The panel was told that by means of emails, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a DNA test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.
